Oregano Essential Oil
Oregano essential oil is one of the most powerful purifying oils. As an accompaniment to infectious episodes, Oregano vulgaris essential oil is highly recommended. Toning and stimulating, the essential oil of Oregano is a must. In diffusion, the essential oil of Oregano vulgaris allows to sanitize the house.
What we call Oregano is Origanum vulgare belonging to the Lamiaceae family. It is a perennial sub-shrub, sometimes confused with the annual Marjoram, which has similar properties, and is therefore nicknamed Wild Marjoram or Perennial Marjoram. Native to Europe, it has been known since Antiquity for its strong taste, its medicinal virtues but above all for helping to overcome “love pains”.
For this reason, the Greeks and Romans adorned the head of their beloved with Oregano branches. A symbol of joy, once called a lucky herb, Oregano is nowadays widely used, especially in Italian cuisine.
